“The Omega Man”: Do steal hot cars to make your escape from the mutants. Don’t let yourself fall in love and end up dying protecting that person.
“Soylent Green”: Do trust no-one. Don’t eat the green wafers
“Outbreak”: Do buck authority and come up with a real solution. Don’t play with stray monkeys.
“Andromeda Strain”: Do fund scientific research well enough to build a massive secret facility in the desert. Don’t worry about your sense of style everybody looks shitty in hazmat suits.
“Mad Max”: Do make friends with wandering bands of fuel-seeking nomads. Don’t drink the radioactive water.
“Zombieland” (or any zombie movie): Do aim for the head. Don’t get bit.

I just watched “ Outbreak” this evening. Everyone needs to watch the scenes where is spreads. Good stuff.

If you are including “Soylent Green” then what is to be learned from “ The Cars that Ate Paris, or The Cars that eat People ?” I would guess that you shouldn’t cause car accidents on purpose or live in Australia at all.
This is a weird, weird movie and I love it for that. Also, I still don’t understand it, but it haunts my dreams, in a good way.

Pretty sure we’re headed for the world shown in this Canadian sci-fi classic:

I’ll need to watch this! From the synopsis all I can figure is: Do avoid driving through small rural towns in Australia. Don’t forget to renew your travel insurance.

And from “A Boy and his Dog” we learn that you’re buddy the talking dog is more important than female companionship and said companion makes a fine dog food if not a particularly tasty one. Hey, it was a weird movie.

If there is an alpacalypse I hope to be one of the first to die, then I will not have to live an impossible survival story.

I watched a boy and his dog probably at the Pittsburgh Playhouse in the early 80's. All I recall is it was strange......

I found the full one with a less weird crop, so just look it up if you do so. I would highly advise watching it, if you have a little patience. One of the most unsettling movies I’ ve seen in a long time.
Bas ically, just avoid Australia altogether and don't drive ever.

Bad Taste. Do drive an old Thames van with a cardboard cutout of The Beatles. Don’t forget your hat, in case you need to keep your brains from leaking out when you fall and hit your head.

I have a friend who follows that same logic. Wants to be one of the first to go.
